Dr. Nick Winterbotham

Since 1989, Nick has worked at CEO level in museums and in other arts, science & heritage institutions:

  • Deputy Head, The National Railway Museum, York
  • Head, Arts and Heritage, Leeds City Council
  • CEO, Thinktank Science Museum, Birmingham
  • CEO, Millennium Point, Birmingham
  • Director, Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket
  • Director, Roald Dahl Museum, Gt Missenden

He now supports science, heritage, arts and learning teams in a variety of different roles. He has chaired charity teams as diverse as the Association for Science and Discovery Centres, the Group for Education in Museums, the Learning and Heritage team at the National Holocaust Centre & Museum and a now similar role with the RNLI.

His enthusiasm is always:

Over the past 30 years, he has worked in local authorities, schools, charities, universities, third sector arts organisations and the National Health Service.
