WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
We could say MRL is aimed at the 'mid-career professional' but that is a cliche; it suggests a more stable and settled world of work than is actually now the case. MRL is designed to equip you for the rapidly changing cultural, social and political environment we are now used to. It will help you become resilient and more entrepreneurial.
The Programme looks at leadership from many angles and it is a unique chance to explore your own leadership ambitions and develop a clearer sense of how you wish to lead. Not everyone wants to be in the central leadership role but all environments benefit from improved leadership in their teams; MRL will help you work out where you can best make a contribution to our culture, now and in the future. It is not museum specific; the skills, knowledge and self awareness you gain during the MRL will be invaluable in many environments.
IS THE PROGRAMME OPEN TO EVERYONE IN THE UK?
No. We are only offering the Programme currently to individuals working in museums, galleries or the heritage sector in the Arts Council England geographic area.
If you work outside England and are interested in the development opportunities the programme provides or in talking to us about a Programme tailored to your organisation, region or Country, then please get in touch.
